Charles H. Comtois, CPA
President/Audit Shareholder
Charles joined Sullivan Bille PC in January 1982 and became a shareholder in January 1996. He is currently President of the firm.
His extensive background in public accounting includes auditing, tax planning, and management advisory services. Charles has gained insight through his experience with technology companies, start-ups, wholesalers, retailers, importers, distributors of tangible goods, supermarkets, software companies, manufacturers, engineering and construction contractors, utility and power production, not-for-profit organizations, and professional associations. His expertise also extends to firms involved with the development of goods, systems and services, real estate management and development, and leasing companies.
Charles is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MassCPAs). He is a former member of MassCPA’s Peer Review Acceptance Board and Accounting Principles and Auditing Procedures Committee. Charles is a member, and former treasurer, of the Lowell Rotary Club, is on the board of directors of the Greater Lowell Community Foundation where he serves as assistant treasurer.
He is also a member of Sullivan Bille’s Quality Control Department and serves on the Continuing Professional Education Committee.
Charles graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
