PEER REVIEW

At Sullivan Bille PC, we are focused on helping firms comply with professional standards and state licensing requirements.

All CPAs that issue financial statements in the course of practicing public accounting must undergo a peer review once every three years in order to comply with licensing requirements and to provide assurance that the CPA is complying with professional standards in the issuance of financial statements.

In addition, most states’ Board of Accountancy requires that firms participate in peer reviews to be licensed as a CPA in their residing state. Sullivan Bille has several CPAs who meet the necessary qualifying criteria noted by the AICPA to perform peer reviews. We are also registered with the National Peer Review Committee and members of PCPS, the Government Audit Quality Center, the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, and the Center for Audit Quality. Members of our peer review team have been performing peer reviews since 1978.

Our goal is to assist firms with complying with peer review requirements while focusing on ways they can efficiently serve their clients while adhering to the ever-changing professional standards of our industry.

To request a peer review, please complete this form and email to tkirwin@sullivanbillepc.com.

Note for those of you who have used our peer review services, you know how valuable Debbie Narus is in trouble shooting peer review administrative requirements. She can be reached at (978) 970-2900 ext. 256 or via email at dnarus@sullivanbillepc.com.
