Audit Shareholder
John joined Sullivan Bille PC as a shareholder in November 2009. He has more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, not-for-profit, publishing, and internal audit. This expertise includes 20 years at “Big-Five” international accounting firms.
John works with clients and their advisors on business and tax decisions, financial planning matters including retirement, estate planning, insurance, and asset allocation. John also works in other related areas including c corps, subchapter s, and limited liability companies. He has expertise in the areas of manufacturing and distribution, supermarkets, construction and HUD real estate, Single Audit, Yellow Book, ERISA auditing, labor unions, publishing, and internal audit. John also has six years of experience as an internal audit director at two multinational corporations.
John is a member of several organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MassCPAs) where he serves on the Accounting and Auditing Committee, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst Isenberg School of Management’s Accounting Advisory Committee, where he was the 2017 alum of the year.
John has a master’s degree in taxation from Bentley College, an MSA in Accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (cum laude) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
